I am popping in with a quick project I tackled this weekend. If you remember, awhile back I shared my DIY Mercury Glass Bottles. I loved decorating with them this Winter and wondered how I could create something similar for Spring.
Sharing ten tips for hosting a monthly craft party
These monogram photo frames are an all time favorite project of mine! Having three kiddos they each get their own frame and this wall ends up being a feature wall in our living room due to the statement they make.
Happy Sunday Friends! I wanted to stop in today and share an update for the Let's Create Events that were held over the last few months. I held four events this last Fall and Winter. I took January and February off, but am looking forward to hosting a couple of events this Spring. I have a few ideas that I want to work on over the next couple weeks to iron out any kinks before scheduling the classes.
DIY Mason Jar Canisters I am stopping in today to share a quick project with you all. Earlier this week I shared that I am currently recovering from a surgery I had on Monday. I knew that for Valentine's Day I would be in bed resting and unable to really go anywhere so I took some time the previous week to put together a fun craft that I could also use to give the kids for Valentine's Day.
I also spent a few days in January getting the rest of my Christmas decor put away and "quieting" the surfaces in our home. As much as I enjoy decorating for the Holidays I always love the freshness of our home after things are put away following the Holidays. I keep a few winter decor items out here and there, but try to keep the decor mostly simple. I chose to keep my faux mercury glass bottles out as part of my Winter decor and thought it would be fun to share how I made them.
A while back I shared 10 Ideas for Enjoying a Long Winter Season Indoors. One of my favorite ideas for enjoying Winter is by lighting candles throughout the house. This Summer I collected different vintage containers for making candles of my own.
I am ending the year with a recap of the top five favorite posts of 2016! A few days ago I shared a more personal recap of our year. We had alot of wonderful changes and are so grateful for all of the blessings we have. Thank you again following along with our journey! I hope you enjoy looking back on some of mine and your favorite posts!
I am so excited to share a project that I have been wanting to tackle for awhile. A couple weeks ago I asked a friend about coming over to make ornament wreaths with me. I spent a week gathering vintage ornaments at a few different thrift stores. Making the wreath really becomes inexpensive when you can by all the ornaments thrifted. Many of the boxes of ornaments only cost me $1.00 or $2.00 each.
The project I am sharing today quickly became my a new favorite of mine. I love upcycled and repurposing projects. If you have read my ABOUT ME page then you know that taking something old and making it new again is a favorite hobby of mine. This project is a perfect example of just that!
